Chances are, you have already spent day, month in fact, make your home comfortable for you and anyone who lives in it, whether they are your children, parents, or other important people. However, what if I tell you that makes your home possible more comfortable, and all that is needed from you is money and maybe a few minutes of work?
I know, it looks like I invited you to a pyramid scheme, but I promise not! I want to talk to you about IoT devices, smart devices for simplicity. Smart devices allow you to automate parts of your home through simple installation, and some smart devices are really fun to enjoy.
Because Christmas is close to us, I feel now is the best time to talk to you about smart devices that you should be aware of!
Phillips Hue Lights
Don't the same lights become boring from time to time? When you flick the light switch in your room, have you ever been bored with the room's yellow hue because of that warm Lightning? Yes, that's why I got a Phillips Hue light kit, and I suggest you do it too.
Don't worry: you can keep warm lighting in your room, but with a Phillips Hue light bulb, you will be able to change the shade whenever you want? Want a purple room for a relaxing night? Done Need to concentrate and need a cooler hue? Finish Seriously, it's that easy!
The Phillips Hue kits are relatively inexpensive, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go on sale this Christmas, so keep your eyes open.
The Sonos One
The Sonos One is a smart speaker who uses Alexa as a voice assistant. With Sonos One, you can blow up music all over the house, and the best part? The speaker sounds good!
It's rare for smart speakers to maintain audio fidelity while maintaining a voice assistant, but that's all that's done. Plus, with Alexa, you can control other smart devices in your home too (like the Phillips Hue lights that I mentioned).
The best part? The Sonos One leaves a small footprint, so you can save it anywhere. Really, what other speakers do you need after Sonos One?
What is this smart device list like if I didn't mention Amazon Echo? Amazon Echo has dominated the IoT market from the start. In fact, Amazon has made many variations of devices, such as Echo Dot and Echo Show.
If you haven't jumped on the bandwagon, Christmas is a great time to. Amazon loves their sales, and I will not let the company pass discounts for the various different echoes available.
Google Nest Wi-Fi
Say you don't care about any smart device that just will add already easy activities. You want something that enhances certain aspects of your home all things.
Let me introduce you to Google Nest Wi-Fi.
Mesh Wi-Fi has become popular in recent years, and there are many reasons why: it is fast, easy to set up, and allows long-distance Wi-Fi connections.
Google Nest more Wi-Fi Removed packets come out from the others, with the "nodes" that you place around the house looking sleek, and setting it easier than ever before. In addition, each node acts as a smart speaker, allowing you to have a voice assistant around the house.
That 2020 will be a decade of IoT devices, which is why I recommend jumping on the bandwagon now. And if you do, I recommend installing VPN on your network, like Netgear VPN. Hi, a little more security won't hurt, especially since smart devices can give hackers access to your network.
Remember this list when you shopped last Christmas, and be sure to pick it up yourself too!
