FG 30 House by Sergio Miguel Godinho Architect
FG 30 House is a very sharp and bright modern residence located in the city of Loule in Portugal. Designed by Sergio Miguel Godinho Architect, This minimalist home offers living space under 2,700 square feet with an attractive layout and direct connection to the outside courtyard.
A white house is built on two floors, and creates a volume balancer, specifies a wide and closed zone outside for leisure, produces a shadow area, is worn by floor volume 2, at a height of the South, and protects 13 meters wide border, covered by 6 sliding windows imponent, from direct sunlight into the house, on the hotter part of the day.
This is an effort from the project idea, that the social floor is wide open to the exterior at the south height, through sliding windows, where the kitchen and living room experience is mixed in the same space, while close to the exterior.
On the other hand, a contrast is created by opacity, at the North elevation.
In the interior, a hanging staircase leads to the 2nd floor to the 3rd bedroom. Intended to be a prominent element in the house, being in the service corridor on the 1st floor, connecting all the spaces on this level.
The 2nd floor with 3 bedrooms, of which two of them, live in fellowship with a large terrace outside, and a bedroom suite, with the possibility of opening onto a spacious balcony to the west height overlooking the view.
